Jess Hoskins is a conductor from London.
Following projects with the London Symphony Orchestra, the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain and Royal Academy Opera, Jess recently made their debut with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra in their Young Conductors’ Showcase Concert. Under the guidance of Sian Edwards, they graduated with distinction from the master’s course in orchestral conducting at the Royal Academy of Music, where they were additionally awarded the Academy’s highest honour at graduation.
Alongside a wide range of experience in opera, contemporary and symphonic repertoire, Jess is also the founder of ‘The Orchestral Dance Music Experiment’, a new club night exploring the fusion of electronic dance music and live instrumentals.
Jess looks forward to upcoming engagements with Waterperry Opera and Opéra de Rouen.
