The Orchestral Dance Music Experiment explores the fusion of electronic dance music and live instrumentals.

The first instalment in 2025 was a night of minimal techno and percussive breakbeats from Jess and DJ Cleopatra alongside new instrumental music by Toby Anderson, Martha-Maria Mitu, Saurabh Shivakumar, Yan Ee Toh and Luca Zucchi, plus solo improvisation from Otto Hashmi.

ODME was invited to close the inaugural Queerscore festival in April 2025 at SpaceTalk, Farringdon. This featured a more varied set, taking dancers through glitchy ambient sounds, electronica, and house to euphoric disco mixes, with instrumental parts from Toby Anderson, Saurabh Shivakumar and Yan Ee Toh.
